Sanctuary Weddings
Our Sanctuary, completed in 1953 has become a beautiful and widely sought after setting for the perfect wedding ceremony.

The Sanctuary seats well over 600, and is air-conditioned for your comfort. In 1988, The Henrikson Tower was added, and has made the Sanctuary barrier-free and easily accessible. In 1994, Centennial renovations were completed, making the sanctuary into the beautiful, gothic structure that is an ideal setting for weddings.

East Church sanctuary weddings are conducted by the senior minister or the associate minister. The ceremony is wonderfully crafted in the U.C.C. tradition and one that will bring deep meaning and beauty to the very special day.

All weddings in the santuary are conducted by East Church Senior Minister and use the same ceremony text.

Klise Chapel Weddings
Seating only 72 people, Klise Memorial Chapel makes the perfect setting for the small, intimate, very romantic wedding.

In 1931, the Klise family donated the chapel with the stipulation that it be used by the entire Grand Rapids' community. Couples of all faiths are welcome and are invited to take advantage of this lovely and special setting for their ceremony.
