Associate Minister of Music
Diane Triplett Biser
Diane graduated from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Music as a vocal performance major. While at Westminster, Ms Biser was a member and soloist with the Westminster Choir for three years. She toured with the choir for three months during that time, singing in twenty-eight states. Her teachers have been: Lorean Hodapp, George Lynn, Janice Harsanyi, Margaret Harshaw, Lorna Haywood and Stanley Kolk. Diane has been the Associate Minister of Music at East Congregational United Church of Christ in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 1969. She directs the Cantus and Chancel Bell Choirs and teams with Mr. Biser in working with the Chapel Bell and Sanctuary Bell Choirs.
Diane also serves as an adjunct faculty member of Grand Rapids Community College and as a Voice Instructor at Aquinas College. She has been an Associate Professor of Voice at Kalamazoo College.
Ms Biser is currently a member of the Chamber Choir of Grand Rapids and is featured soloist on two of their compact discs, Music for Cathedral Spaces and A Yuletide Kaleidoscope. She has sung roles in ten operas and performed as a soloist in dozens of oratorios in Michigan and around the country.
